Converse City Forests

Big-Giant was given the unique opportunity to help Converse find an impactful and engaging way to celebrate Earth Day 2020. From initial conception, to creating content capture guidelines for regional documentation teams to ensure campaign consistency, to execution, we worked alongside Converse to create Converse City Forests: an ongoing project that aims to purify the air in major cities across the globe by creating murals with an environmentally friendly paint that removes pollutants from its surroundings. Each mural location is featured on ConverseCityForests.com, with pages featuring artist biographies and information about the murals and their air-cleaning power. Social media content is also created for each mural, providing a deep dive into the process, the artists, and the core values of Converse City Forests.

A collection of Instagram posts and stories is created for each mural location and shared through their local Converse IG account. Here, viewers get an intimate look into the mural-making process and get to know the artists and collaborators who create them.

ConverseCityForests.com is continuously evolving as new murals are painted. Each location receives its own page providing insight into the mural, the artists, the location, and a tree count representing the number of trees that would provide the equivalent air-cleaning power of the final mural.
